Honne (meaning "one's true feelings and thoughts" in Japanese) is a series of works that delves into the connection between bodily motion and emotion.

Melbourne-based abstract artist Ksenia Shinkarenko’s serene works evoke feelings of tranquility and calmness, garnered from nature, photography and architecture.

Melbourne-based artist Ksenia Shinkarenko reconciles many antipodean influences, pouring them into artworks which have emerged as a unique reflection of her lived experiences. Transitioning effortlessly between creative pursuits, Ksenia has been able to find a visual language which is poetically succinct, filled with an alluring luminosity and defined by resolved compositions which instil a sense of calm and clarity within the spaces they hang.

The opening of the Pacific Fair boutique coincided with the launch of the Viktoria & Woods Resort 2023 collection. Designed and curated in collaboration with contemporary artist Ksenia Shinkarenko, the 16-piece capsule epitomises coastal dressing whilst paying homage to Australia’s golden shorelines.

As part of our Resort 2023 collection, we are honoured to collaborate with contemporary artist Ksenia Shinkarenko, a friend and muse to V&W. Ksenia's artistic journey was born out of her love of minimalistic style and a lifelong passion to create. Her background in fashion and visual merchandising, allowed a natural progression to embrace her destiny as an artist.
